Dr. Laura Hole
OBSTETRICIAN/GYNECOLOGIST
Dr. Laura Hole is an OB/GYN Consultant with more than 15 years of experience working in this specialty. Dr. Laura trained at Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospitals in London before starting specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. She then moved back to her native United Kingdom where she completed her training in the south of England. She has spent much of her time working in cancer centers where she has had additional sub-specialist training and experience in surgical gynae oncology, colposcopy and gynae ultrasound. She is an accredited colposcopist with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). She is an advanced laparoscopic surgeon as well as being experienced with complex open surgical procedures.
Dr. Hole is passionate about global health and has spent time in Tanzania and Ghana working on projects to reduce maternal and child mortality. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach, working closely with nurses, radiologists, pathologists, and oncologists to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Dr. Laura is inspired daily by her husband and their two children. She loves to dance, snowboard and rock climb and is looking forward to tackling the famous ascents on Cayman Brac. With Dr. Laura’s experience in managing both cancerous and precancerous gynae conditions she brings new possibilities and options in diagnoses and treatment to the women of the Cayman Islands.
