COVID-19 – A message from OceanMed

As many are aware, we are facing the reality of Coronavirus (COVID-19) reaching our shores here in the Cayman Islands. We understand patients and visitors may be anxious with the recent developments. Rest assured, at OceanMed we are committed to protecting health and well-being while maintaining high-quality care to ensure there are no compromises in patient safety.

OceanMed will remain open to serve our patients

OceanMed will remain open to serve our patients. As a reminder, we are not an urgent care center and specialize only in gynecological and obstetrical services. For the safety of you and our staff, we kindly ask that your appointment be rescheduled to a later date if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or have travelled within the past 14 days. A visit to the clinic while sick may put you and other patients at higher risk of infection.

Expectant mothers are encouraged to continue their regular antenatal checks. If you are pregnant and experiencing flu-like symptoms prior to your appointment, please contact your physician via phone for advice.

We encourage all our patients and the public to continue practicing good hygiene

We encourage all our patients and the public to continue practicing good hygiene, washing or sanitizing hands frequently. In addition, please practice social distancing which is to avoid hugs and handshakes and keeping a distance of at least 6 feet between persons when possible.

Thank you for helping us to protect the health and safety of those who visit OceanMed during this time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
